Collaborating to Make a Difference
At VIBE Salon, we’re proud to collaborate with Wigs for Kids, a non-profit hair donation organization that helps children suffering from hair loss stemming from chemotherapy, radiation therapy, alopecia, burns, and other medical causes. Wigs for Kids has been serving children experiencing medical hair loss since 1981.
While Wigs for Kids covers the full cost of each system, hair donations and financial contributions are essential to making this mission possible — and that’s where our amazing community comes in.

This heartwarming event has taken place for the past two years and includes:
- Fashion Show
- Fundraising raffles
- Local vendor booths
- Food, drinks, and community fun

Our Story
In May of 2023, VIBE Salon had the honor of being selected by 93.3 WMMR and Kathy Romano to host "Kathy's Cuts," an incredible event where participants donated 14 inches of their hair to the Wigs for Kids Foundation. This event was our introduction to Wigs for Kids. Inspired by their mission, we quickly became strong advocates for the cause.
To deepen our involvement, VIBE Salon proudly signed up for the Hair Donation Specialist Program. This designation allows our stylists to become donor harvesters, providing discounted haircuts and styling for donors, and positioning VIBE Salon as one of the official donation centers for Wigs for Kids.
In February 2024, we held our 1st Annual Winter Event, which saw over 200 attendees and raised more than $4,000 for Wigs for Kids. The success of this event propelled our passion for giving back even further.
By May 2024, we were invited to host our second
"Kathy's Cuts" event, alongside two other local salons, which helped facilitate 88 hair donations.
Our 2nd Annual Winter Event, we doubled our amount surpassing last year's donation continuing our commitment to support Wigs for Kids and the amazing children they serve.
Donate Your Hair
VIBE Salon participates in Wigs for Kids Donations. If you are donating your hair you will receive 50% off the original hair cut price. Pricing varies on stylist level. Please make sure your hair meets our hair Donation Requirements: Hair must be a minimum of 12 inches. Hair cannot be chemically treated or colored. No dreadlocks. Hair must be clean and dry before sending.
Donation Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 inches
- Clean, dry, and chemically untreated
- Hair must be bundled in a ponytail or braid
